Can you think of random little bits of advice you've got over the years, and despite all this time, the words still ring true?
For me it was almost 20 years ago when I was applying for a marketing internship.
I crushedddd the interview, answered every question on point, and had plenty of follow up thoughts and ideas to share on the given topics we discussed.
And yet, her final remarks I remember to this day....
"Dave, you clearly prepared for this interview and were terrific with all of your responses, there's just one problem. I still don't know who YOU are?
💀 Gut Punch! But she was right!
Don't be a cooker cutter version of the person you think you need to be.
Be YOU, and the rest will take care of itself.
