Fun fact about me, almost every day for the last few years, I've carried a shell in my pocket.
It's an act I picked up from my grandmother, who shared the same love of the ocean, and believed keeping a shell in your pocket kept you close to the beach.
More than a reminder of the beach, it also reminds me stay curious and creative.
When you go seashelling, you almost never find the exact shell you're looking for, but a different one, one that ends up better.
Same has been true in business. You have to stay open, stay curious.
